Okay, Plan A is on!
I called the Mt. Pinos ranger again today, and he said that Miller Jeep Trail is still open, and doesn't close until the after the first major snow storm. There's still a chance of rain in the forecast, but hopefully it won't be enough to make the trail too muddy. I mean mud is fun on easy trails, but on this trail, it would really slow us down.
I also called Hungry Valley, and got their recorded message which didn't mention any kind of closure or anything out of the ordinary, so I assume everything is good on that end too.
As mentioned in the initial post, please bring a bundle of firewood if you can. I have one, but one won't last very long and it's going to be 40 degrees tomorrow night.
I think my liver has recovered from last weekend's heavy partying on the Mojave Road, so I'm ready to party again. I'll bring 8-10 or so bottles of MGD, two bottles of American Honey, disposable shot glasses, and a table to line them up on.
Here's the list, as I understand it.
5. Sandiegojeepin (meeting at staging area)
2. Jerry Bransford
I think that's it. With the exception of Sandiegojeeping, I'll see y'all at the Flying J for breakfast at 8:00am.

Still Plan A then. The weather forecast is looking more favorable right now.

|Sandiegojeepin||We'd like to camp too...if possible, stay with the original plan.|
|12-01-2010 04:18 PM|
|BeantownR6||it doesn't sound like alot of rain, i would still like to camp...don't mind the rain. plan A works for me, if the rain makes it too difficult for the trail, then plan b|
