That's the trailhead. We won't be stopping at the trailhead, because there's really no place to stop there. Meet us at the Staging area down the road a bit at N34 44.059 W119 02.364 .

I called the Mt. Pinos ranger again today, and he said that Miller Jeep Trail is still open, and doesn't close until the after the first major snow storm. There's still a chance of rain in the forecast, but hopefully it won't be enough to make the trail too muddy. I mean mud is fun on easy trails, but on this trail, it would really slow us down.

I also called Hungry Valley, and got their recorded message which didn't mention any kind of closure or anything out of the ordinary, so I assume everything is good on that end too.

As mentioned in the initial post, please bring a bundle of firewood if you can. I have one, but one won't last very long and it's going to be 40 degrees tomorrow night.

I think my liver has recovered from last weekend's heavy partying on the Mojave Road, so I'm ready to party again. I'll bring 8-10 or so bottles of MGD, two bottles of American Honey, disposable shot glasses, and a table to line them up on.

Here's the list, as I understand it.

Going:
1. yomondo
2. JRickW
3. BeantownR6
4. Rebuilt
5. Sandiegojeepin (meeting at staging area)

Maybe:
1. wranglerYJnewb
2. Jerry Bransford
3. Nthe8s
4. 530ktm
5. MBPomerantz
6. McPuck86

I think that's it. With the exception of Sandiegojeeping, I'll see y'all at the Flying J for breakfast at 8:00am.
awesome!!!!

im gonna bring a bottle of johnny black. i just kegged and carbonated a heffewiezen beer an hour ago that i made, going to have a sample soon. if its good ill bottle up a bunch to bring.

i need to pick up fire wood and food!! can't wait!

BeantownR6 it doesn't sound like alot of rain, i would still like to camp...don't mind the rain. plan A works for me, if the rain makes it too difficult for the trail, then plan b
