jeeperman There are a few clubs in southeast Michigan. You should look at the "Dirty Minds Jeep Club". They seem to be fairly active, and have runs pretty often in the area and out of state. There is also a small local board for mid-michigan called misfitoffroad.com. They have quite a few runs every year as well.

tazmangk there are alot of seasonal roads in and around Allegan. Also a very good 4wd club called the A.C.E.S based in Allegan.
p.s. my 94 YJ with the 4 cyl can go any where the others do, I've pulled out several v-8 rigs and have lost count on how many 6cyl's

Gate53 I run a 4popper and I like it. I don't care for mud and once offroad I can go anywhere the a 6 can. (and some that a few can't but that's not the motor lol) And follow the advice Krista gives it should be the first rule of offroading.

yellowjacket The mounds and bundy hill are the clostest. I have a 4 banger and do just fine when I was on 31s. I am now 3" higher and on 32s.
