|John412||Hey Geoff any sales coming up on tinted window replacements for a 2010 2dr soft top in the near future? I will say I put my top up and down alot this summer and fall and it holds up great and seems to take some abuse, good quality top in my opinion. Just if it came with a guy to help you with it when your alone and its about to start pouring.|

The new tops for the JK are going to be later to market than the TJ ones. I do not have a good date or a JK Trektop NX, but it will -most likely- be mid year - June-ish.
I know this is annoying when products get announced and then moved, but look at it this way: with forums like this, you folks get the news early, and first. It's harder to control, and occasionally bad for companies like mine, BUT in exchange for a little chaos, you really get to know the market.
I do not know the price for the Trektop NX's, but expect they will be comparable to the classic Trektops. Within 100 bucks or so.

Do you see my posts? Questiion? When is the Trektop NX going to be released for the JK or is it already? I see it for sale for 1997 to 2006 models on several websites for around $635 to $650. Is this going to be the price for the JK's as well?

The JK Trektop actually allows the front half to be rolled back. It's a manual thing, but easy to do. TJ doesn't have this feature.
Bestop sells a Supertop, which does NOT have the flip top feature. We also sell a Sunrider top, which does flip back. Our Sunrider is basically the same as a Supertop, but with an extra hinge for the flip.
The factory top is also called a Sunrider, and it flips back. This top will be different in a few areas than the Bestop aftermarket Sunrider. Yes, that is confusing.
As far as the competition, I do not think any of theirs have the Sunrider flip top features. But they may have a roll back top like our Trektop. Not certain.

Price point -should- be about 50-100 bucks more than current tops. We don't set price points.

Geoff, Bestop Jedi, could of course correct me on any of this if I'm wrong.

what do you think they will be priced at?

|rics1997||How about the new trektop NX for the JK. Thats the one that I was looking at. Hopefully before June|

Supertop NX: March for TJ tops, but unfortunately, later for JK. June-ish.
(that's new info, and not at all what they said earlier on, sorry.)

|InfernoGirl||No, it's an option. You have to make sure you order it and the proper door surrounds to accommodate it. Tinted windows are an option as well.|

Also Bestop is coming out with two new tops somewhere around Feb or Mar according to Geoff, the Bestop Rep on this forum. Trektop NX and Supertop NX
I am hoping the new Trektop NX is available before spring myself.
Here was a thread where he talked about it

|BlackMountain||do all the new JK softops come with the sunrider feature where you can flip just the front half back?|
|12-06-2010 09:17 AM|
|InfernoGirl||Mopar, and Bestop will be your two best choices. You'll probably be able to find a takeoff on Craigslist or ebay. Make sure you get all the hardware too. Otherwise Bestop makes the Mopar tops so, the quality is the same, their Supertop NX that will be released in a few months would be a great choice if you can't find a used factory top....|

Best Soft Top?
I know its winter time, but I'm thinking about getting a soft top this spring and want to know who makes some good ones?
I have a Black 2 door, so I would prefer something with tinted windows and a "sunrider" roof.
I don't know if these are made for the JK or not, but can anyone point me in the right direction for a good soft top?
