What you describe is a classic side effect of running mud terrain tires. I experience it with my Goodyear MT/Rs, for example, though I have also felt it with numerous other brands of tires as well.

|shrubeck||What tires did you get? I've had that happen with aggressive mud tires when they're new.|

I actually dont feel it at all in the steering wheel.. its more in the brake pedal.
I just put new rotors and pads in because of the pulse. Still doing it.

At least 100 - 200 miles ago.

Does it pulse just in steering wheel, or also in the brake pedal?
I had some old tires that were hard to balance due to age, and they would vibrate only at a certain speed and when I got hard on the brakes from that speed. No pulse in the pedal though.
A pulsing in the pedal means your roters will need to be turned.

|JDsDream||How long ago mileage wise did you have the new tires installed?|

|4Jeepn||Well the tire place should check the balance.. I had that happen on new tires on the grand cherokee. they said bring it in.. sure enough out of balance. Could it other things.. lug nutz, caliper bolts, I would say start simple.. try a home rotation and see if that helps.. Then if if not, check all the bolts for the brakes and tires. You might have a bad new rotor too...|

I will try this tonight. If it does... is it safe to assume that I should rotate the tires?

|T2000J||dose it do it if you just let it come to a stop without the brakes ?|

Wouldnt shaking from the wheels being out of balance occur when I am moving at a decent speed?
I called the tire place, because I noticed it the same day i got the tires put on. They are insisting its a brake issue. Doesnt make sense!

|4Jeepn||wheel out of balance? try rotation front to back and see if that helps.|

"Turbulence" when coming to a stop?
I recently had new tires put on my wrangler. About a day or two later I noticed a slight shake when I am almost to a complete stop. I knew I was due for brakes so I assumed thats what it was. Needless to say I went and put on new rotors and pads and............ still a slight shake.
It only happens when I am almost to a complete stop. Any ideas????
