Well, when one of our friends was out this past spring, we did the measurements and unless someone modded something, that sucker was not going to bolt right on.

It would be an instant highline conversion, very desirable

AzTJ No because the JK grill is wider than a TJ and the frame mounts are different.

Big Kid I see the bumper doesn't exactly "match" the lines with the TJ, but would a grille guard such as the Manik fit on the TJ if it were made for the JK? Any mods be possible to the guard to "make" it fit?? Any help is appreciated.

AzTJ Road Armor and Rampage are the first two companies that come to mind that make bumpers with integrated fog light mounts, and I'm pretty sure Rugged Ridge makes one or two as well.

Kate The hoods won't fit either.
When I first saw the JK I got all excited thinking "OH it could be a quick & dirty highline"

InfernoGirl JK bumpers mount differently and since they're wider than TJ's I think the frame is wider as well. You might be able to do it, but it won't be easy, I bet. You should be able to find one pretty cheap, most JK owners don't care for that much plastic on their Jeeps, so they replace them often.

99white4.0 Ive never seen it done. You could always buy a ARB bumper and then cut fog light holes in it. Bout the closest thing to a JK bumper I've seen, not to mention its one hell of a bumper.

JSY The 07+s are called JK. TJ is only 97 to 06...

To your question. I'm not sure. To me it doesn't seem like it would fit the shape well. It could be done and I'm sure you could find one for cheap but I would suggest looking through the vast selection of after market bumpers...

bumper off newer TJ?

So I am looking at different bumpers and wanted to know how easily a bumper off of a newer TJ would fit on my 99 sport.
I really like the look of the 07+ bumper with the fog lights and stubby end caps!
