|Hammerwalk||I love driving my jeep, in fact, i do more "hey hun will you run to the store to get me some sugar" trips now days, than i have in the past 5 years. Our closest general store is Dollar General 5 miles away, or wally world, over 10 miles away. Living out in the sticks has its advantages|

|Pacing The Cage||Just bought my first Jeep. A 2011 Rubicon. I have never enjoyed a purchase of any kind as much as I have enjoyed this Jeep. I've only had it a week and I can't drive it enough.|

|denis4x4||This is an interesting thread. I suspect that a lot of the whiners are first time Jeep owners and their expectations aren't realistic. I have had a Jeep in one form or another in my driveway for the last 25 years. If I want a smooth ride with no wind noise, I drive my wife's T&C van. I like the fact that the '10 JKU Safari still has a metal showing on the doors and lacks a certain sophistication usually found on "regular" cars. The only time I wave to another Jeep driver is when he (or she) is smart enough to know that up hill has the right of way and pulls over to let me pass.|

No complaints here! Got me home in a wicked snowstorm this morning without so much as a spun tire! Then when I got on to my back road, pulled my neighbour IN HIS LIFTED FORD out of the ditch. then proceeded to tramp his driveway down so his wife could get out with her ford escape! Now dont get me wrong im by no means a ford hater. My family drives nothing but fords.... I broke the tradition. I also own a f150 myself. My JKU is just amazing in the snow. Every Canadian should have one!

can't comply, i have a very serious problem, my daughters take it whenever i'm not looking, leaving me with their vehicles. must be something about having the roof down and that open air feeling. the last week of aug, my jeep was missing for two weeks, it apparently went to the shore and took my two daughters. when it returned, i jumped in and found nothing but sand and an empty gas tank. by the way, its an 08 sahara jku, and i have had 0 problems, not even an oil leak!

give it time, you and your Jeep are kinda like a newly married couple, all touchly feely, kisses and hugs can't keep your hand off each other and endless sex. Then after a couple of years it's a peck on the cheek to say hi and bye sex comes around like Christmas once a year.
Just kiding----- a day doesn't go by that I don't love my Jeep. Ya she has her flaws but that's what makes her what she is a Jeep. She has never let me down, always gets me out of trouble and the other fathers looks on with envy as they climb into thier minivans. I LOVE JEEP and I don't care who knows it.
I even come up with lame excuses to tell my wife so I can leave the house and spend more time with her.
"honey I need to drive to the other end of the block to see if it snowed there too!"

|sheetsd66||Guess I never noticed the negativity. I started looking at this forum when I was thinking about purchasing a Jeep and wanted to see the kinds of issues others were having before I pulled the trigger. I was surprised by how little information I was able to find. If you want to see some negativity, look on an F150 forum. 90% of the posts are related to something breaking or malfunctioning. There's a big difference between working on your ride because you want to or working on it because you have to.|

I don't take leaks in my jeep...that's what the great outdoors is for,
Stealer-ships--nope, bought mine from an individual,
that--sorry, no go;
As far as good things and being positive...every time I drive it I have a blast and every mod I make lets me enjoy her that much more.

|Wolf1||I've owned several vehicles and always swore by Nissan. I had a Pathfinder and an Xterra but NOTHING COMPARES to my 2010 JKU! Way too much fun to drive. I told the Jeep dealer after my first oil change, "If I hit the lottery, I'm coming back here and buying 6 more Wranglers! I don't even care about the gas mileage." I actually still have my Xterra, great ride, but she's awfully lonely right now....|

Its been really cold here lately and Ive been driving my 93 XJ for the past few days. Its making me miss the way to hot heat of my JK very much. I love both jeeps but the JK would be what I keep if I had to ditch one for the other LOL Dont knock Xj's anyone if when you pass one of those old looking Cherokees and smirk because your in one of your pretty new Jeeps just remember those people will keep up with you no problem off road, and for a whole lot less money. I love my XJ
I had to edit The funny part is i'm sure most on the JK forum don't have a clue what a XJ is unless you goggled it.

Dude, it's just like women. When's the last time you were hanging out with your buds and told them how much you love your girl and all the amazing things she does for you, etc...? No, you were bitchin about her or listening to someone else bitch about theirs.
But let another guy say something about her or put a hand on her and heads are gonna get cracked! Might be theirs, might be yours...depending how good a fighter you are =^D but SOMEBODY'S gd head is about to get busted up over that crap!
The bottom line is no matter how much crap you talk, you love the hell out of her and she loves you right back. That's a Jeep!
|12-14-2010 07:14 PM|
I love everything about my girl. No complaints outta me...complaints caused me to have to get rid of my first TJ. I don't want that bad karma again!!!
One thing, though? It gets me out to jeep with other jeepers. Meeting other folks that love their jeeps is way cool.
