Geoff@Bestop The factory top has bows that do NOT break down in the middle, so the bows can be too big to ship UPS/Fedex.

The aftermarket tops, and the MOPAR replacement tops, have bows that separate in the middle, and they can usually easily be put into a box and shipped UPS.

So if you have a factory top, there isn't a great option. You may need to box it as best you can, and take it to a freight company for shipping. Sometimes if you can deliver it to, and pick it up at, a freight yard, commercial shipping is not too expensive.

InfernoGirl Take it apart, it's still gonna be pretty big, but the less assembled it is, the smaller the package you can ship it in...

shipping a soft top

I live in Florida were I am using my hard top and my soft top is in Minnesota. I want to transport the soft from MN to FL. Are there any suggestions. It is very large even folded down. Is just boxing up and mailing UPS a good idea or should I hire a mover to drive it down (but that would be very expensive)? Thanks
