erickpl I have the padding off mine and my Bestop Safari makes that same noise in the summer... But my 97 never had padding on the center hoop anyway.

ParaCAD One thing i'll mention with this top.

I removed all my rollbar padding. Pretty much trashed it. I figured, it was tan so i didn't want it.

But anyone else may want to leave the padding. I think because of this, the little bit of flutter i get when driving down the road, causes the top to smack the metal rollbar, making a flapping noise. A little annoying, but i'm sure i'll get used to it. its not all the time tho..seem more noticeable with the windows down..

just an FYI

ConnorE I got the same top for x-mas and I like it sooooo much better than the stock one. Maybe because mine was falling apart, but who cares! Once I saw this top I HAD to have it. Installing mine was a b!#ch though. There was maybe a 1 inch gap on both side of the back window but it's been on for a whole week so it should be stretched out (hopefully) by now. haha It really does give it a whole new look.

Thanks!

Well the half doors seal a little odd. But i'm hoping they'll be ok. no rain as of yet to tell if they leak

I bought the half door skins few weeks before the top. And the skins just so happen to be smittybuilt. I asked before buying but they weren't sure, so i just bought them, and the zippers have an SB, so im assuming. So the 2 together, don't fit perfect.

The skins seem like the foam seal is really bigger than they need to be. They do seal. But like i said, not sure how they'll do in the rain.

I'm sure i'll find out soon enough.

But overall the top went together great.

Rampage soft top installed.

Got my top today on time from Fed Ex. I'm loving it. I got it installed and all with in 1hr. Worked out great. A windshield header was req'd, Which went on without problem.

I'm estimating 1hr, because during the install i also worked on my WJ fixing a vacuum leak. Could have actually taken less time.

I bought it from Allens Offroad. The process was simple. After a few PMs, and a phone call, the next morning it was in process, and i got my receipt emailed to me.

Top is on and i'm loving it! Tinted windows and all, give it a whole new look

Here's a photo of the top installed:
