My pleasure. Good luck

Thanks Mike. I had only heard good things about them, so your feedback is very useful. The ones you suggest are quite good (I have tried them at an ORW nearby), but they are way out of my budget for the time being. I'll look some more and test before I make a final call.

However I did not like the quality of the seats. They felt cheap and the material felt thin. I disliked them enough that I sent them back. 4wheelparts was good about returning them but I did have to eat the cost of shipping.
I ended up bringing the stock seat to a local place and had them re-stuff it. I've actually been happy with that.
If I were to consider after market seats again, I'd take a look at the MasterCraft Baja reclining seats. I've read good things about them (but this time I'd want to see them in person first)

I am curious at to what you ended up doing and how the seats worked out. I am looking at the same Corbeau Moabs for my 97 TJ. Thanks.

you probably will lose the puller, but if you keep the bracket and slider you might be able to keep the flip forward.
the mechanism is on the bracket/slider, not the seat.

Corbeau Moab - Flip seat function
I want to replace the stock seats in my 1997 TJ Sahara. I was on the verge of buying a set of Corbeau Moabs from 4wheelparts
Moab Black Vinyl/Cloth-RH3
I called them today to confirm that I will retain the "flip forward" feature of the stock seats if I install these seats. The kid told me he couldn't help me out, he had no idea!!!!!! What the..?.?.?....
I ran searches and didn't find what I was looking for. Does anyone out there know if the Corbeau Moabs will still allow you to use the "flip forward" feature of the stock seats?
