To answer your question. No, unless you are plugged in and hitting the switch you are not pulling any power.

I've never had a problem with a dead battery. My winch broke one time and I sent it to Warn and within 3 weeks, had the winch back. Never even paid for shipping. The warrenty was great!

foxinthemudd warn is usuallly pretty good about fixing stuff in my opinion, of course I deal with one of their promo people (a friend of my dad's) who is gonna get me set up on a ti for around $400

osbornl1 not sure on factory warrenty but i got my winch from 4 wheel parts and they gave me lifetime warrrenty no questions asked type warrrenty for free because of the 8000lb being back ordered and i upgraded to a xd9000...i already used it on my controller with the 12' cord i cut it in half slamming my seat shut once and they replaced it and told me to throw my old one away they didnt even want it back. ask quadratec to see if they have something like that.
06-26-2007 09:55 PM
dwdrums801 I was going for a cheaper one but my dads was picky about it and wanted me to get that one so he gave me the extra cash to get it....

wat kind of factory warrentee do the warns have?
06-26-2007 12:37 AM
1BLKJP Sum beach that's the cheapest I've seen the ti ever.

That's a great winch you won't be disapointed.
