XtrmTJ Sounds good to me, let's make it happen, in Jan some time ? Should be loads of snow by then ?

Dockman4 That's great news Xtrm. That pic was taken on the Spirit Lake Highway, about mile marker 35, last weekend. That's as far as we could go. Up there elk hunting...got one thanksgiving day. My son, Lcpl Brandon Anderson, won't be home 'til May now, but I've told him about you and he's looking forward to seeing your rig. After the first of the year, (after all the holiday hustle and bustle) I'd like to get together with others in the Vancouver/Portland area and go for a quick spin up in the snow around here somewhere.

XtrmTJ Dockman4, Great pic ! Where/When was it taken ? Ya know we still go to go "wheelin" !

PS: Great News, I/we get to stay ! Not closing Larch ! WooooooooooooHoooooooooooo !

boomer27127 Tahuya isn't that far from tacoma. I live in lakewood and it only takes about a hour to get there. We went a little under a month ago. It's a nice drive.

You could probably do evens when its dry also. I haven't been up there in the winter months so I'm not sure what it would be like now.
I've been to Evans when there is snow and it's not too fun. Lots of getting stuck and winching out. I might go up to tahuya on Sunday morning. I live in Tacoma though..

Dockman4 Welcome fellow Washington Jeeper.

Steel02001 I would be interested in doing Tahuya as well sometime soon. Right now I have weekends off but that changes in mid-december if anyone's interested in heading up.

dewem007 Haha well said. I will take that advice. Im pretty stock right now with the rubicon. No lift but new good 31's. Ive been up to Evans Creek with friends multiple times, but in their jeeps. Elbe once as well. Im thinking about hitting up Tahuya on sunday. You think I can handle any of those if I take it slow?

XtrmTJ Take it out and wheel it ! Polish your (driver) abilities at the same time you are enhancing your Jeeps abilities. You got to learn to "crawl" before you can drive a Jeep.
