|crh1109||Thanks for the part time info, I don't have a manual that was the main reason for me asking. I did, in fact, have it confused with only being engaged part time, like my chevy's "auto" 4wd. I think I am reduced to chasing the whole circuit. It is just frustrating because they both worked before the lift and 2 days later didn't work, I'm sure I will find it is something disconnected. But it is snowing here and I am off to play, lights can wait|

|InfernoGirl||There is no full time light on Wranglers. Any time you are in 4WD it is "part time". It just means you have 4WD engaged... You can see where there is the option for a full time light on the dash if you look at it in the right light, due to the fact that Wranglers and Cherokees (or something) share the same dash.....|

If you read in your manual, it will explain that part-time only means it should be used only part time. It means your axles are both being driven and it is not recommended for full-time use(like on dry pavement). A lot of people get this confused and think that it is mysteriously only working part of the time like an all wheel drive vehicle that only engages 4wd when it senses wheel slip. This is definitely not the case with wranglers.
As for the fog lights, I doubt the lift has anything to do with them not working. It's possible that you may have pulled/cut/broke a wire during the install. Fairly simple fix. Test the wires when the switch is on starting at the lights. That will let you know if you are getting power or not to the lights. If not, then work your way back to the switch with the tester and test every 8-10" or after every time you lose sight of the wire(under the radiator, through the fire wall, etc). If you do get power, then either the lights are bad or you have a bad ground. Hope this helps you!

First snow....4WD question
I haven't really searched this yet, but figured I would ask you guys. I put my 02 sport into 4wd for the first time, and it lights up "part time". Can anyone explain this? I don't recall my 97 having this. Can I get to full time?
BTW: I put a susp lift on and my fog lights quit working. the green fog light icon comes on the dash but no lights. anyone have anything on this either?
Sorry for the double questions
