Atthehop There are a lot of pro and con postings about wheel adapters. Personally I would never do it. Been in the automotive business for over 40 years and most people get lazy on routine maintenance now and then, even myself, and this just adds one more item to keep an eye on. Some states do not allow them also.

4Jeepn Not a big fan of them myself, just one more thing to make sure is tight. But yes, you can run them.

Bolt pattern adapters??

Has anyone used bolt pattern adpters to run newer, bigger rims?? I have a 1998 jeep wrangler (5x4.5 pattern) and want to run a set of 18in. rims (5x5 pattern) with 255/70/18's. More of a street tire. I am running 31's on 15's on a stock lift now. I can get a GREAT DEAL on the new set of tires and rims. Thanks for any input!!
