Hosep I am ordering my Banks tomorrow! I just want to make sure that it fits with a RC Long Arm kit? Cuz I am ordering that in a week or so.

LAXADAISICAL616 The Banks sounds awesome

Cleric73 IMHO - all the catback does is make the Jeep sound better. As far as HP boost or mileage boost I believe it's negligible. (Considering Tires, gears, Lift)

I had the Flowmaster 40 on my '02. Sounded great. Other benefit I found was that it was tough as nails. Everything on the undercarriage took a beating when I lived in Phoenix and played with rocks.

Mine was about $140 installed. Also, don't put tips on...they'll snag or get bent off, trust me.

JIMBOX Yea, thats right-money is all that counts !!

jeepjones Go with the Banks, all the others I found sound tinny and weak, but the Banks sounds solid and has atitude.
01-26-2011 12:45 PM
rics1997 Not that interested in updating exhaust because I see no real benefit other then noise but I have to say out of all the videos people have shown so you can hear the exhaust that Banks Monster has to be the best sounding so far. It really sounds good.

Avalon786 Anyone know anything about the Banks Monster?

JakeRupp I have a Borla exhaust, and love it because I don't want it obnoxiously loud, but sounds beefier than stock.
01-23-2011 04:59 PM
OsageJeep I was thinking replace the catalytic converter and put on a flowmaster but Idk..I knocked a hole in my stock muffler playing offroad so I am interested in finding something
01-23-2011 04:40 PM
LAXADAISICAL616 I have the Gibson Dual Tip Exhaust and love it. Gets fairly loud some times but I enjoy the rumble and sound overall. Definitely turns heads and feels great to drive
01-23-2011 09:54 AM
JIMBOX Heh Heh, yea if you install new muffler/piping/tips-etc

There's no warranty replacement for the stock muffler !!

JIMBO
01-23-2011 09:49 AM
Avalon786 You guys know if changing the exhaust will void part of the warranty
01-21-2011 09:16 PM
1sgjeep I just added this week the Airaid CAI and the Magnaflow cat back set-up and love it, not too loud until you get on it and on the highway it was a good smooth tone.

Avalon786 I am thinking of the Gibson Dual exhaust. Look on youtube, there are some videos of all kinds of exhaust. Search google or whatever for the best prices.

The Flowmaster 40 cat-back was the right physical size to fit in that spot--ya gotta checkitout-

I'm biased, because I've used Flowmasters on most of my muscle cars and I was addicted to the sound !!

They had never done a JK muffler setup like this so I did the layout and bend points-

It worked out great, after two years, no leaks/vibrations/heat problems, we used some of the heat shield from the stock muffler, to shield in the new muffler position !!

You can put the NEW much smaller muffler, in the stock position, but

I'll tell ya, you can't get any DUAL EXHAUST sound, unless you have at least 6 ft of "DUAL" pipes, for harmonic/pulse /sound reverberations-sounds like BS, but it ain't !!!
