YHSublime Hahaha, it would be a hilarious short skit, an airtight Jeep that exploded if you slammed the doors.

It's a shame it got away, I was looking forward to sporting a new hardtop. Oh well, maybe it's for the best, I don't have much room to store it in the summer, and I already have two soft tops.

Hardtop Vents

I got the BS from another Jeep forum. That's why I used the "read" in the sentence.

Will a new hard top fit my 97 TJ? - JeepForum.com

nope, don't think it'll fit your Jeep.
you should cut your losses and just let me take it off your hands...

Pretty sure that's not true, too many other ways for air to escape on a TJ.... They're far from air tight...

YHSublime Well, it would have fit, but after we negotiated a price, he didn't take his posting down, and somebody else offered full price.

<sigh> Who wouldn't like a little more money in their pocket, right?

tailhole I got older top with vents on a 05. and my doors are still hard to shut

InfernoGirl It'll fit unless it's off an LJ.... No vents in the top, so closing your doors might be a little harder.
