You know you drive a Jeep when...

(This is a good thread..)

Your evenly sunburned everywhere. All summer.. :)

hgesell 07-06-2011 03:53 PM

Your wife, husband, significant other, goes to your work and steals your jeep out of the parking lot. I don't mind my wife taking it, and I can fully understand the amount of stress relief it brings to drive nekkid, but I usually don't bring my key to her car to work and it is a pain in the a$$.

Same here. No matter what sunscreen I use.

You see another jeep and wave out of instinct even if your not in Jeep

When it makes your day that this thread is back

old_blue 07-06-2011 07:19 PM

when you take a 9 hour trip topless and get a seatbelt tan line

HULIO 07-06-2011 07:26 PM

Ditto on the seatbelt tan line. And you forget to sunscreen your freshly shaved head. Ouchie

When it is relaxing to go for a drive after a stressful day.

I let my sister-in-law drive mine to town for drinks the other day, it took her and my wife almost a hour and a half to run to town that's ten min away. She came back ready to put my bros old cj7 back on the road.

When you pull up at the gas station, open the Jeep Gas Cap Cover, fill it with Diesel and then get 400 miles from the tank. :punk:

Sorry, had to get that one in.

hgesell 07-07-2011 08:43 PM

When it looks like it is really going to rain and you can hear thunder so you run out to put the cover on or top up, only to have the sun come back out and the rest of the day is beautiful.

When you drive down the grass instead of the driveway.
When you're the only person driving normally when it snows.
When you actually LOVE your car.

When the people in your building at work look out to the parking lot to see if your hard top is on so they'll know if it's going to rain or not.

My Jeep is a better weather indicator than the weather flight in my squadron more often than not.

SirGeorgeKillian 07-08-2011 12:05 PM

When you park next to the guy who can't park and is over the line and have no problem getting out because the doors are hanging in the garage at home..

I swear I could end a drought if I could find the mud to get on my jeep. This always happens to me.

It does last week I found two ruts in the game reserve that had mud in them and I ran through them several times and that night it rained for the first time in about a month. GRRRRRRR!!!

You know you drive a jeep when... You hear someone ask a girl if she prefers to drive topless and you think nothing of it.

Reaperonin 07-09-2011 12:52 PM

When your wife let's you get away with telling the hot blonde to take her top off..lol

When you would rather drive your Jeep in the rain with the top off than have to drive a "normal" vehicle.

Or you tell your wife that your just going to pull the Jeep into the garage and then are gone for over a half hour because the weather that night was particularly nice, the top was off, and you just couldn't waste the moment.

This one's for the ladies. Your everyday hairstyle consists of a ponytail or baseball cap. In other words, you don't care what you hair looks like.
