Jeeperman Stubby Front Bumper

I was wondering if anyone knew any more information about this than the few sentences they describe it with. Additional pictures would be best.

"NEW!!! Jeeperman Super Stubby front bumper. This bumper is built out of 1/4" laser cut and formed steel plate. It includes a winch mounting plate and fairlead mount. 3/4" CNC machined d-ring clevis' are welding to the front and back of the bumper next to the frame mounting points for maximum strength. This product is shipped raw. Grill hoop not included."

TALK ABOUT FLEX!

I'll search around, not a bad looking bumper.

Look at the tie rod on that beast!
Sorry, I know that was off-topic.
:)

I don't know anything about that bumper other than the pictures I've seen. But I will say that is one helluva good looking bumper and I love the fact that it already has shackle mounts. If I didn't already have my PSC Trail Stinger I would have jumped on that. Also it's only $ 200.00. That's a steal.

Iv been reading reviews on his stuff, and they are all top notch. Cant find any reviews for this bumper but the rest of his stuff people seem to love.

sucks that it doesn't come with the hoop and comes raw.

Scout 08-07-2007 03:20 PM

Powder coating is cheap. Spray paint is even cheaper.

GrnTJ 08-08-2007 08:32 AM

Yea, just use some truck and trailor enamel. Thats pretty tough stuff. Better yet Id roll some bed liner on it. Like Herculiner. Then it will never have flaking or chipping issues. As for the hoop, weld one on yourself or have a machine shop do it for you. Theres not much work there so it shouldnt cost much.

debruins 08-08-2007 09:56 AM

where can you find them?

Triple88a 08-17-2007 10:53 PM

I like that bumper it looks great.. too bad you cant hit stuff around with it since it will all move to one side or the other into the tires........... such as things holding signs..............

RIPBiker13 08-17-2007 11:19 PM

Scout 08-18-2007 11:17 AM

I think you're making a good choice. That's a damn good looking bumper.

mrbigjeep 08-18-2007 06:29 PM

get it with the hoop...it just looks like your average bumper without it.

Bending a muffler tube is quite different then bending a stinger tube.. one is 18 gauge or so other one is 12-14 gauge :) I dont know if a muffler pipe bender can do such thick walls and 1" in diameter piping..

just curious, how cheap is powdercoating? not exact, but am i looking at like >$30-$50<, what would you think the range would be? I can add powdercoat when i buy it for +$30, but i dont know if i want that color. I would have to see it in person, but if i were to have it shipped bare...

Scout 08-20-2007 04:16 PM

I had two diff covers powder coated here locally for $ 30.00. I would think a bumper would be in the $ 50 - $ 75 range.

Triple88a 08-20-2007 07:11 PM

How about hard industrial chrome instead? :)

NalinMFG 08-20-2007 09:24 PM

HA! only people from chicago put chrome anything on their jeeps:flipoff:

cavediverjc 08-20-2007 09:31 PM

Wait a sec....as long as he's a Cubs fan, he can put chrome anything on his Jeep. However, if he's a Sox fan well........FLAME AWAY!!!!!

NalinMFG 08-20-2007 09:37 PM

I'm if fan of the big STL cards, you ever heard of them Triple88a?
