Don't shoot
I hope you guys don't mind but I need Wrangler information.
I have a Bronco 2 with Explorer engine and running gear. I want to add a limited slip to my dana 35 TTB front axel. I understand that the 1986-1996 Wrangler offered a limited slip dana 35 rear. I plan to visit my local bone yards to locate an axle but I need the code. If anyone knows the codes that jeep used to identify a limited slip on either or both the build tag or the diff tag, It would be appriciated.

I figered where Jeeps were built by FORD as well as Willys in the early days, there might still be a connection there, lol

Thanks again,

There are a lot more XJs with LSD rears in the 35s then in the YJs. easy way to do it is get the rear axle off the ground and spin the tires. if they spin in the same direction then its got an LSD or some form of a locker. though traction adders and dana 35s are not the best of friends.

I must say, you guys have been more welcoming. A good friend of mine has a jeep something or other, he's been more then willing to share the trail with me and my lonely Bronco. Just last week I winched him up a hill he was having trouble climbing... he almost said thank you. :flowers:
