Nice Willy's,

Of course, you enjoyed your title way more than you should have!!! The willy's looks great. Please take some more photos so we can see the engine compartment and the dash with gauges. Thank you,

Take care and have a great Christmas!!!

Google still can't understand the question, "What is this device mounted on the front left fender of the Willys Jeep, surrounded by this round band that apparently protects it?" So, I'm putting it to you, instead.

adimw 12-28-2011 07:38 PM

blackout light - for driving with minimum visibility during war.

"The blackout driving light mounted on the left front fender is a hooded light having a sealed beam unit that throws a horizontal diffused low-intensity light beam to illuminate any vertical object. This light is used when the tactical situation does not permit use of service headlights."

below is a modern day version sometimes used on humvees in conjunction with night vision googles

some 4WD clubs even do night runs only using park lights... or these!

Good looking jeep, love those pictures of it out in the woods. Take good care of that machine cause there ain't any of them left in my neck of the woods.

MarkNog 04-06-2012 11:07 AM

That is one beautiful machine you have there!

denisbaldwin 04-06-2012 11:34 AM

Love it! Every time I see a nice running older CJ or Willys, I want one.
