The 17x8.5 Tracker weighs approximately 24lbs.

nickm757 05-12-2014 02:07 PM

16x8.5 with 285/75 Nitro Terra Grapplers. I couldn't have asked for a better looking wheel.

Discount Tire 05-12-2014 02:08 PM

Your JK looks great nick!

Argent 05-12-2014 02:15 PM

Been looking at these for my ride - thanks to JEEPERZ_CREEPERZ I know what they'd look like on my Hydro Blue FE :)

Any deals going on for these? Looks like they're $575 for a set of 5?

Been looking at these for a few weeks now. Just got off the phone and pulled the trigger on 17's with 315 Duratracs. Can't wait to get them.

Hmm tempting....what about mounting and balancing (and TPSM switch overs) - that included in the price if I have them shipped to one of your stores? or that still extra? Thinking of just having the stock tires spun on to these until I need to buy new tires....

Mounting and balancing is only FREE through our mail order service with the purchase of both tires and wheels. If you purchase wheels only then local shop rates apply for installation. Since you have a Discount Tire in your area I recommend purchasing everything there. Our local stores are competitive with the on-line market and they can swap out your existing sensors. I would contact your closest store to see what they can do for you.

Hey - I'm located in California - is America's Tire the same as Discount Tire? (I remember I had a friend in Nevada that worked for Discount, he said it's the same just a different name since there was already a discount tire in california).
Either way, I have been buying tires from America's Tire here in Redwood City for 10 years, never gone anywhere else.

I am installing a stubby front bumper and bushwacker flat fenders.
I need new wheels and tires for my Sahara. I want the Level 8 trackers 16 and 5 bolt.

I'm also looking for some good MT tires - I love the : 360110 toyo LT305/70R16 (33.0X12.00R16)

I need something with ability on and off road and i dont care about if it's loud (i love the sound)

Would those tires fit on those wheels - or what's the closet solution that I can do?
I would want to order these right away. I'm flexible on the tires, I just need a good setup quick (including spare). I just believe I want something no smaller than 33" - 12" - 16". but since i have the 3.21 gearing i dont want larger than the 33" since i dont want to regear yet.
any advice?

Discount Tire 05-14-2014 08:30 PM

Thanks for the post, Yes, Discount Tire and America's Tire are the same company and yes, you are right about the reasons for the different name.

The combo you want to run would be great on your Jeep with your flat fenders. You shouldn't have any rubbing with this set up.

I'd recommend contacting your local America's Tire for a quote. They don't stock Toyo tires but should be able to order them in for you. They will also have some alternative tires for you to consider as well.

Last, with your stock gears I think you are right. 33's should be fine but any larger than that and you'll be wanting to re-gear. The 16" Level 8 trackers are a great choice because you can put 33" tires on them now and after you re-gear you can put 35's on them next time.

Let us know if we can help you more! Thank you for your continued business- Cheers!

Here's probably another silly question - but before I go pulling the trigger on these - will the stock P255/75R17 Goodyear SR-A's fit on these wheels? I hadn't planned on upgrading the tires until these wear out.

Absolutely. The approved rim width range for tire size 255/75R-17 is 6.5" to 8.5" :thumb:

TJNuss 05-15-2014 12:53 PM

Any info on the Pro Bully wheels? I am looking for a complete set of 15x8 here in So Cal. area for our TJ.
Thanks Craig

Discount Tire 05-15-2014 07:13 PM

Hi Craig,

The Pro Bully and the Pro Tracker aren't available yet. Level 8 is making a few small changes and then they will go into production soon. ETA at the moment is still 60-90 days but we'll post more accurate information when we have it.
