Please help question about water leak
Hi, I have a service appointment monday for my 2010 Sahara. After a night of heavy rain my passenger side foor is soaked. It was parked, level, everything tight. I would never have known unless I pulled the mat to clean it. Not a major flood but damp wet. I firsted noticed this last winter and thought it was passengers dragging snow in. Thank God for the internet as i have read this is a known problem. When I bring it there are they going to know how to fix this? And, should i demand new carpets cushion pads for the passenger side? It has a slight musty smell when you put your nose right up to th carpet. I know its a Jeep and they leak a little, but for $28,000.00 this is unaccepable. very disappointed. Any advice appecciated

Take a look at this leak manual.

There are indeed a lot of threads on this topic, which probably explains the slow responses.

Try taking a look at some of these threads:

I just got mine back from the dealer yesterday and it is suppose to be fixed! They replaced the rubber piece on the passenger door just below the soft top. It did not leak for the first 10 months and then it started leaking. They will fix it for you, don't worry I know how you feel about spending that kind of money just to have water all over your floor! It's still a great vehicle!

I especially like the leak manual #10 on the first page. I put my hose on jet setting and sprayed directly at all the seals from about 1 foot away. I was able to squeeze only 1 drop past the back window seal.

I saw that someone fixed their leak by re-aligning their passenger door after a few seal replacements didn't help.
