Hi, has anyone heard of a Roll-over switch or no where it is? I'm not getting power to my fuel pump and I've checked all the fuses and relays. A neighbor told me to look into the switch saying sometimes they go out.

The auto shutdown feature has a relay under the hood. Try swapping the horn relay for the auto shutdown relay and see if it fires. Mine went out once. All Four relays under the hood have the same oem part number. I replaced all of them after that issue. Also, read up on how to check the obd-1 codes on the yjs

Many vehicles with electric fuel pumps have an inertial switch to kill the power to the fuel pump in an accident. That is probably what your neighbor is talking about. Go with SquareLight's recommendations. The ASD relay provides power to the fuel pump relay.

Pretty much only Ford products (Lincoln, Mercury, etc) are equipped with an inertia cutoff switch. And race cars. Most all fuel tanks have a "rollover" valve of sorts, which is a check valve that stops fuel from spilling out the vent line when the vehicle goes bottom up.

I disconnected mine. Wheelin one day and my buddy accidentally hit it. BAM... Over we went. IDK why the hell chrystler put those in jeeps! Darn reckless in my opinion.

Just try resetting it. Mine always flips and i have to push the pink button. Its located under the vehicle right next to the Muffler fluid resevoir...just kidding but seriously, your neighbor has lost his mind i think
