Will Krylon Fusion paint stand up to side step use?

Are your side steps plastic, or metal?

It should hold up just fine, but it may be a little slippery. You may want to use some of that black grip tape that they use on ladder steps. Just put a couple strips of it where your foot would go. I used it on my rocker guards and it has held up very well.

they are the plastic factory ones. thats a god idea for the grip tape. i will pick some of that up as well. perhaps paint it, then carefully put some on the raised portions of the step and cut it to follow the contours. thanks!
