How reliable are rubi lockers

04 rubi
32" mtr's
Silver soft top full door 5 speed, offroad lights 56k miles near mint shape never been offroad
Warn winch,bumpers and tire carrier

$14000

How reliable are the stock rubi 44 lockers?
I sold my Tj cause I want either a rubi or a built Yj
If rubi lockers suck I'll pass on it,is that price pretty low?

Rubi lockers are reliable enough until you start abusing them with excessively large tire sizes like 37" or hammering them excessively on extreme level trails. $14K sounds excessive for an '04 Rubicon though, I paid less than that for mine last year after my previous TJ was stolen.

Good to know Jerry
The biggest I'll run is 35's if I buy it

What do you think of this then
88 Yj,hard and soft top, full and half doors
3/4 ton chevy axles, full arb lockers and compressor
Amc 304 with a 5 speed
9" lift 37" tsl"s
Everything new with less than 1000 miles on it
$8000
And I would use it as a 90% highway monster, the guy won't go lower
And he hasn't told me the gear ratio yet but it was built by a guy that built it as a crawler

if your looking for a reasonably priced rig check out the for sale section of Pirate4x4. most CL adds and people are trying to scam or pull a fast one on you.

8k for an 88 YJ, no way. Mods don't hold their value. Way overpriced.

id go with the rubi. low mileage, less chance of rust. coil springs, better transfer case, lockers. where are ya located? that will affect the price. i dont think 14k is way overpriced. maybe 13k lowest.

I'm in south Louisiana 70395
Jeep are expensive here

$14k isn't too bad for my area. Especially with only 56k miles.
