New to San Antonio

Hey folks. I'll be moving to SA within the next couple weeks so I just wanted to get a jump on where the good riding spots are and everything. I'm looking forward to getting somewhere with a little more active Jeep population. Plus I'm tired of cleaning mud off my rig.

You won't need to worry about mud---big time drought--Plenty of dust and 100 degree heat though..

I hear there are some nice rocks to play on though. I'm psyched to give that a shot. From what I've been told, Cline's offroad park is the place to be. The heat's nothing new to me. I've been in north louisiana for almost two years

I just found what looks like a quad trail running off Nacgodoches Rd into Cibolo Creek just outside Gardenridge. It's at the light before the turn on 3009 coming from 1604. Looks like it would be sweet. Anyone know if it's legal to ride down there? I know it should be all dry since there hasn't been rain here in ages. I just don't wanna see lights behind me when I come off the trail so any input is greatly appreciated.

If its the one down by the water if seen people playing but don't know if its legal. I'm still looking for places around here to play talking to a rancher out that way to see if he would let people play if I did some work out there

That sounds pretty legit. Keep me posted on how it goes
