Rear wiper catches on center brake light

I am new to the forum but have been a Jeep owner for about 5 yrs now. I hope I'm not asking a question that was already discussed here but I searched the forums and didn't get any 'hits'.

My problem is with my 2003 Wrangler Sport with hard top. The rear window will 'pop' out at the bottom just from routine closing of the doors. The problem this causes is that the rear wiper will get caught on the center brake light behind the spare tire. In order to keep the wiper motor from burning out I have to stop and push the rear window back in place. Since I live in the Pacific Northwest, this situation occurs almost daily between September and May and almost as often during the other 3 months.

I have tried adjusting the hinges that hold the rear window to the hard top but it doesn't seem to help at all. I haven't been able to figure out what exactly holds the window closed and in place. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Also, since I'm new here, I'd like to share something I devised in the garage to take the hard top off without needing another person to assist and doesn't cost a couple hundred dollars. In total, I think I spent about 25 dollars. It involves using a cable puller (aka cable comealong), a couple of rachet tie down straps, some rope, pulleys and eye bolts. There are a number of ways to throw it all together in order to achieve the goal.... but if anyone needs any assistance, I'd be glad to answer questions. (Note- I originally tried to get a mechanical advantage using a block and tackle setup but ran into too much friction to make it work. That's why I used the cable comealong. You could also mount a hand winch to the wall instead.)
