You see you messed up in the kitchen only having one shot. That argument could have been over more quickly if you had.

$600.00 for plates has gotta be a Texas thing!

desertgoose 09-10-2011 06:30 PM

Had mine for $50/ year. $25 for plate style and $25 for custom lettering. Bothered me that it was every year so I switched back to what they give for no additional cost. I figure I get my money worth if I get a new custom set every other year and make them change the plate # on my registration every time.

Maybe the Texas plates are 1 time fee?

Very funny with the sales pitch in the kitchen in fast forward, then slow mo when she finally agrees. You might want to put the rear plates under the tabs on the frames right side so those alignment pins fit into the right side plate holes. Looks good, I'm pretty tight giving the state more money and get what ever isn't extra money. I give you huge credit for getting the ok for that purchase. My ex wife would have never went with that, maybe thats why she's my ex?

Excellent!!! Wish I thought of it...

My plates are TIJEEP

Thanks guys for all the nice compliments. Since we plan on never getting rid of the Wrangler, I purchased the plates for 10 years which is why the cost is so high at $600. We actually received a $660 insurance check for getting hit from behind that caused unnoticable damage so that allowed us to splurge on these plates. We actually did not want the money but the other guy's insurance company insisted we take it. Although Texas cost of living is low, it is not so when it comes to specialized plates.
