AZ, do I know that jeep? Does that guy run an Atlas?

AzTJ 09-08-2007 01:00 AM

I don't think so, he's from Nevada... found them on another forum.

Ah, cool. Looks like one of the HigherGround4x4 guys from the Cracks last weekend. Guy had some issues and ended up blowing a couple teeth off the ring gear of the rear axle.

So DW, you thinking of going with some MT/R's?

dwdrums801 09-08-2007 01:07 AM

yeah as soon as I can find a dam axle! I have the money for the rims n tires im just still trying to find a d44 to swap in

AzTJ 09-08-2007 01:08 AM

I take it your referring to Chris? I've met him once, but yah, them green Sahara's all seem to look alike... and everyone runs MT/R's. :D

1BLKJP 09-08-2007 01:10 AM

Good deal. They are definitely good tires. I don't think you will be disapointed.

dwdrums801 09-08-2007 01:12 AM

yeah and I can get them at a nice discount so if anyone knows where I find an axle id love you forever? haha idk its gettin late

1BLKJP 09-08-2007 01:30 AM

How much you lookin to spend on the axle?

dwdrums801 09-08-2007 01:35 AM

well im trying to find it used cause brand new ones are alot of $$$

I would like to keep it under a grand but then i would have to wait to get my tires again

jeeperman 09-08-2007 08:24 AM

They are good tires, just have to rotate, and balance them, every 3k. They get choppy, real quick.

nice looking jeep jeeperman. I've thought about comp cutting my rear corners too, even without a stretch. would be nice not having anything back there to drag and get hit. Of course, dents are cool too though :D

not to get too far off topic, but how did you address the rear passenger side fuel evap canister? Where di you put it and do you get any codes thrown?

Thanks,

Ben
