I have a few pic's of rocks that look like animals & different things. If you have any post them up

This one was taken on Kane Creek & I didn't realise that it was a dinosaur untill AgelessStranger pointed it out

This one looks like a witch & the last one looks like a bear

I noticed the Bear on Jeff's FB pics before I read the discription. Very very cool. :thumb:

I love that bear one, sweet. and I think the first one looks like a croc. so kinda like a dino! Sadly we aren't know for our rock structures here in PA...

I snapped this in Pike's Peak Nat'l Forest. It looks like a conch shell or something...

I don't have a pic of it. But a story. So when I was in highschool we had a class trip to Maine to go hiking for a week in the mountains. And one day my group of about 10 had been hiking for a number of hours up the side of one of the mountains. And by this time we all had long ran out of water and began to be dehydrated carrying the heavy bags. And lookin up the mountain we swore we say this tent with people around it and got so happy to finally have found some water. As we run up the mountain to this place we find it was just a giant boulder about the size of a mid size suv. ....Fail indeed

I have a pretty crazy looking rock I'll take a picture of tomorrow. It was so odd I carried it a couple miles out of the woods with me.

This thread must be kept on topic so no rude looking pic's ok

JeepCreeper 09-21-2011 12:46 PM

"Rocks that look like other things" would include "rude" looking things. Just saying. ;)

This is from a trail that i would like to run...but havent. Its Bullfrog in JV. If you look on top of the hill you can see the "bullfrog"

No it doesn't have to mean "rude" things at all & especially if it is a PG13 forum, ok I will change the title

Look up "Ticklish Rock"!

It doesn't really look like anything but it is pretty cool.
