K2: Life and Death on the World

Thanks for the post. I will definitely put that on my list to read. I just finished another book on the 2008 K2 disaster - "No Way Down", by Graham Bowley. Very gripping account of the incident. I couldn't put it down.

I've heard that's a great book. I'll certainly put it on my last well. Have you ever read Anatoli Boukreev's "The Climb" which was his account of the 1996 Everest disaster (it was a counterpoint to Krakauer's "Into Thin Air")? Great read that certainly keeps you engaged and not wanting to put it down.
