those are the windmills that are above Martindale Pa which is above my home town of Portage. I kno of a few trails to get there but i like to take the access road. Still its a nice drive

The last picture in this group looks just like windrock (coal creek in TN)

It's a 72,000 acres park in northern east Tennessee for anything off road. You mentioned Atvs so that plus the picture had me thing windrock:

theres a few windmill farms here. the ones in the background, if you take the access roads you can literally drive right up to them

RoxstarD 10-09-2011 10:33 PM

The ones on windrock you drive up to also. I've taken a tour of the insides on a benefit ride a few years back. They are huge. One blade is 31 feet long. 37 windmills on one ridgeline. On several trails you can turn off the wheelers or jeeps and can here the blades cutting through the wind. Jeep clubs have jamborees here yearly. If anyone is ever in East Tennessee check it out, it's worth it.
