2012 Wrangler sets sales record!

Best September sales in Wrangler's history:

11,388 units sold, and on track for 125,000 Wranglers this year!

The Wrangler is the 2nd best selling vehicle (after Dodge Pickups - all lumped into one) in the Chrysler/Dodge/Fiat/Jeep group.

Figures...
I bet a lot of people were waiting on the new engine. The new tranny is the big upgrade, along with the 2011 interior update.

Good for Jeep......or Fiat I guess.....

Yeah, as soon as i heard about the new improvements it really sealed the deal for me.

Just imagine what would have been possible if they could keepn up with demand. Could have crushed it for the company as the record holder...

i dont think the engine was a big a factor as the new interior for and the colored hardtop that came in '11 that people are just catching onto it makes the vehicle seem just a little more "grown up" and polished

Yeah - I just wish they could produce what they have already sold. I ordered in August and they haven't started building it yet.

Doesn't count as "sold" until delivery.

Factory is at capacity from what I understandl.

No, that's not true. Any jeep that's being custom made for a customer is a sold order, it gets put at the top of the build queue if it's put in the sold order schedule. Some dealers don't do this though and they put it in their stock order queue, and that is what's frozen right now.

You are correct, orders marked "sold" get priority at the factory, but they don't count as "sold" in the real sense until the customer takes delivery and pays for it.

I ordered Crush - they have delayed production a few times. So, priority seems to be a relative term at this time.

Check and see if your dealer put it in as a "sold" order. If not then it is on hold.
