Hey, so i dont know how many of you guys have a CB in your rigs but I was wondering if there is an Official CB Channel you guys use for Jeeps or if not I say we get a standard channel going for NY Jeeps so you can chat or call for help if you get stuck or break down. :crash:

Idk if that would really work, b/c I know I usually either have it on scan, so it stops on a channel with some truckers, or I just leave it on 19 so I can hear if there is traffic or anything. Also, CB's have a pretty limited range, only about 4 miles or so, and there aren't a whole lot of real jeepers around here who would have cb's, mostly just soccer moms in their 4 door saharas. I would be down to chat, but again, what are the chances of being within 4 miles of another Jeeper who happens to be driving at the same time, has his cb on and is on that channel.
not to be a debbie downer, i like your idea, but from a practical standpoint, especially here in westchester, i dont think it work... unfortunately

We use to always use the day of the month on wheeling trips. Unless it was the 19th, 9th, or it was otherwise busy, then we used the day minus 1....

I have a modded cb that I'm trying to fit in my TJ. It has a 100 watt amp and I'll be going with a 102" whip. Love to shoot skip too. If you see a Wrangler with antenna, just flip to the day of the week. Good idea.
Did you ever wheel on the 9th or 19th or just call it off. LoL.
