help with stereo system

Scosche SLC4 Four-channel line output converter at Crutchfield.com
i was wondering if this would work with my stock 98 radio. (no sub) i want to put an amp, speakers and maybe a sub while keeping my radio stock (long story) also where do you guys put your sub/amp?
also.. what are some good speakers, amp and sub for decent price?

what is your spending limit?

yes it will work with the factory unit, just need to find out the correct wires to tap into.

i would suggest using an amp for just one set of speakers and an amp for a sub. i used an amp with the speakers that were in my sound bar and was able to fit it behind the glove box with some minor work done.

again, need a spending limit to help you best

reasonably, you should be able to pick up your four main speakers (front pair and sound bar pair) for at or around $200. I went with with Polk DXi's which were on promotion at Crutchfield. Also picked up 2-10" Kicker Comp subs for under $100. The amps were where things got a bit pricey for me, 2 Rockford Fosgate amps pushing everything, but it sounds great with or without the top on and at highway speeds.
