help! new battery in jeep (two weeks ago) gauge reads good. everything comes on :lights ,gauge lights , radio etc ---but wont turn -over. I do hear a short low buzzing sound from behind the glovebox. hope its just a switch associated with cluth pedal any ideas!??? this is my daily driver--Help!!!

Turn the headlights and radio on. What happens to them when you try to start the engine? Do the headlights dim all the way off and does the radio lose power?

Ive read many threads much like this. Basically theyre all sayin check wires, connections, solenoid, and tap the starter with a hammer. Id go look through a few if I were you :)

My '03 Rubi is having this same problem. At the dealer right now.. I had it towed in on Saturday.. Dealer said it started today. I messed with it for about 4 hours on Saturday with no luck.

Dealer is going to keep giving it a look tomorrow to try and pin point it..

This happened to me once before but I just pulled the key out and tried again and it started right up... I thought it was just a fluke thing but apparently not..

Check clutch switch at the pedal if it does not make contact it will not start, had to replace mine.

Yeah I'm also guessing the clutch switch. Mine went as well

You can just bypass the clutch interlock, but it sounds like it might be something else because of the buzzing, like a relay or something.
