Supporting member payment methods

I tried to sign up to be a supporting member. When the window came up it said to click on the button beside my preferred payment method...and the only payment method offered was Paypal.

Is that the only choice? Paypal or bust?

Thanks.

Don't think it needs to go to the administrative level, though. Just curious.

Did you know that now you don't need a Paypal acc to pay through them? you can just pay with a credit card, there is instructions at the start of the PP page that will ask if you want to pay by CC

We are just normal people ourselves. ;)

JCF hit the nail on the head. You are not required to have a paypal account to purchase a Supporting membership.

You can use your Credit Card/Debit Card by following the instructions on the payment page. :thumb:

I didn't know that. Never used PP before. And in my ignorance, I've always held them to be on a level with Facebook, gatherers of personal information for marketing and other nefarious purposes. :D

Now that you've schooled me on their normalness, I'll slap a Supporting Member subscription on my CC asap.

That makes me suspicious.

Oh snap! You used the rank! That's like back in the day when my mother was mad and used my first AND middle name. That kind of sucks a bit I guess. I get paid to browse this site all day long :punk:. Not really, but I spend quite a bit of my time browsing this forum and all of it's goodies inside and out .

distortedtj 11-13-2011 03:15 PM
