Shambam 11-10-2011 10:01 PM

I'm from Dalton, GA but i'm currently stationed at Hickam here in Hawaii :D.

Mortalis5509 11-10-2011 10:55 PM

I am here to help.

I live in South GA but wheel mostly in north ga where my g/f lives. Check out North GA Jeepers. It is a local forum that people usually wheel every weekend and a club function once a month. The Christmas ride is at a place called black moose. Nice private place that you have to be invited to. There are plenty of Forest Service roades to ride. Everyone is real nice there and willing to help everyone. Give it a try.

Mortalis5509 11-11-2011 06:47 PM

Ask the folks on NGJ as I know where you are talking about but I don't everything about the city so they might be able to help you out more than me.

Teej1088 11-11-2011 10:55 PM

@123 thanks. I live 5 miles from Stockbridge, but unfortunately I'm not well versed in the Jeep trails in this area yet...

soldiermike007 11-12-2011 12:25 AM

I am from Moultrie, GA (that's South). Albany has some trails (short) that are good for testing out new mods. Beside rock, they have a little of everything. Mud, rough terrain, sand dune, erroded clay. Its a fun few hours, and a good way to see what your jeep has. It is off the Blaylock exit of the bypass. I would take you there but I am living in Puerto Rico for the next 4 years.

WARNING: Lots of 4wheelers. dirt bikes, and drunk college/HS kids. Be prepared to pull people out of the mud with your clearly superior off road machine (I assume you own a Jeep). Also might want to check with locals. Land might have been purchased from the public.

soldiermike007 11-14-2011 10:27 PM

123> hes in your unit. i checked with him last night.
