If you are only going to run 31s....skip this kit and go with the 2.5". It's all you need for 31s. If you decide to go bigger down the road, you can easily add a 1" body lift.

The 3.25" kit is nice in that it comes with longer swaybar links and the rear trackbar bracket, and the coil spacers could be useful if you have heavy bumpers and/or winch.
If you have or plan to get front swaybar disconnects, the front links included in the kit won't be needed.
If you don't have a winch or heavy bumpers, the coil spacers are not needed (to fit 31" tires).
If you upgrade to an adjustable rear trackbar, the bracket that is included might not jive.

I have included pictures of the 3.25" kit with 30", 31", and 33" tires for comparison.
The very last picture is of the 2.5" kit with 31" tires.

After the lift. Can't tell too much. I'm getting tires after Monday. I had to remove the cover that covered the shift stick because it wouldn't let me shift into second gear. I have to move back the center console a bit.

This Thread is actually just what I've been looking for, Thanks!

jeepgarza 01-05-2012 10:55 PM

^^same here! I like the look of the 31's with the 3in lift.
honestly it doesn't look much different then with 33's

I guess it depends on the tires i have mud tires, 33's, and 30in snow tires and do those look funky with my lift/jeep.

jeepgarza 01-05-2012 11:01 PM

also what comes with this 3.25 lift is it all suspension/ coil or does it involve a body lift? would you guys recommend RC or what other 3/3.25 lift?

Jarnel 01-05-2012 11:35 PM

The one I purchased was a suspension lift with shocks and coils no body lift

and that was from RC? 3.25in right?

Miketroy666 01-06-2012 01:28 AM

I have the rc 3.25 lift in my 02 apex only dislike is the shock are very noisy while driving. Other than that I like the look of it with my 31's now I'm in need of new fender flares.

Jarnel 01-06-2012 04:39 AM

Yes rough country. I've had no problems with it. Its pretty much great

chickiebaby 01-06-2012 05:58 AM

I would recommend RC. With th e bigger tires it rides just fine. No issues here

jeepgarza 01-06-2012 11:11 AM

where would be the best place to buy (what website)?

adawg38 01-06-2012 01:23 PM

just go straight through Rough Country $380 for the kit plus maybe $46 for shipping.

jeepgarza 01-06-2012 04:30 PM

380? That cheap! I was figuring around 500! How does it ride compared to stock?

jeepgarza 01-06-2012 07:44 PM

is there anything else needed? mml, t-case drop?
