Checking in

Hi, I'm new to the forum, and to Jeep! I am currently looking at buying a 2011 Wrangler Rubicon in the next couple of weeks. Quite new to off roading but I have driven a Land Rover Disco 3 for the last 12 months, but wanting to play some more in my own vehicle! Anyway, thought I'd say hi and thank you in advance for all the advice I will be asking for in the coming months!

Welcome to the WF to both of you and congrats on your new Jeep Casey! Don't forget to --> :wavey:

Markhoss, I had a Range Rover Sport before I bought my new Wrangler so I know what you mean about having fun in your own vehicle. Trust me, I couldn't be any happier to have traded in that way too expensive, although beautiful driving machine, for my Jeep!

I agree Sully, I have taken the Disco offroading a few times but the sort of tracts I like to find are the more challenging ones, so ended up with a few scrapes on the paintwork as it is a bit of a beast in size. After that I didn't really want to do too much as wanted my own vehicle to damage! Anyway, I now know that black is definitely not a colour designed for an off road vehicle! Silver Rubicon here we come!
