Full steel doors
Where is a good place to find a set of full steel doors for my 03 TJ. I have the half doors now and want to swap.

what is wrong with the half doors. i have full steel doors on my 97 tj and im hoping to role it over onto a stump or rock and cave one of them in. so i have an excuse to get halfs doors.i dont like them they are heavy and view restrictive. im just giving my two cents in. im one of them guys who never has doors on or the top on thats what tarps are for:
I want to bump this one up again, and see who may have a set of red half doors they might want to trade for full ones. I don't want to go through the trouble of painting, so red or nothing. :)
Red is a very popular color for jeeps. You shouldn't have any problems finding a set on ebay or craigslist.

I have had both, and at least around here, where we have a fairly nasty winter a actually have all 4 seasons, I won't do without the full doors again. Having said that, I would like to find a set of 1/2's I could use in the late summer, early fall, when it is cold in the AM/PM but nicer in the mid-day, etc.. I might even scrounge up a pair of unmatched ones and rattle can 'em the right color, or leave 'em silver or white, get a redneck police look going!!

I know pesonally I want steel doors. I just like the window a lot better. Its much larger than the small sliding window on halfs and they are better for winter, which gets bad in Michigan. If I can get my halfs traded for some full steel doors than Im just going to build some tube doors for the summer when I dont want to run a full door. It all comes down to personal preferance really.

search Craigs list and ebay. I just bought a Bestop soft top with full soft doors for $225 with all hardware for my YJ off Craigs list.
I've also seen hard half doors, soft uppers, soft lowers, etc.
