Western PA trails wanted....

New Jeep owner looking for trails in this part of the state. Beginner of course, no mod's to the Wrangler yet. Any suggestions?

rock run recreation park is in patton pa.. not sure how far you are from there.. there's a park being built in northern cumberland county but not open yet tmk. www.eriejeeppeople.com is a good place to go watch for local outings for western pa. PA has winter seasonal roads but you'll have to find the ones in your area and are only challenging in the winter

Thanks! I'll check that out.

And I'm by Pittsburgh, I'm willing to travel to larger events, but wanted to see what was around here. Thanks again

no problem but didn't realize you are in pit.. now that I know that.. you got RC to your east but is a bit of a drive.. Rock run is about 2 hours to your east.. this is the only local club i know of in your area and quite a popular one at that Pittsburgh OffRoad, LLC - The Front Page. EJP is great, but pgh is pittsburgh based.. I'd probably sign up to both of them but thats just me

Pittsburgh Offroad will not tell you places to wheel. The only way to learn from them is to wheel with them. Just a heads up so don't ask them haha

wow did not know that.. very sad to hear that.. ok guess follow EJP closely.. they will be very helpfull. Im sure there are some other clubs in western pa as well I just am not aware of them off the top of my head

OH check out SWPAoffroaders.spruz.com (South Western PA Offroaders). They have a map that I've used to scope out some areas. Quite helpful. Not many talkers on this forum though as they DO stuff rather than talk so it may seem slow haha.

Thanks for the info, I'll keep my eyes open, along with getting out there and wheeling.
