Tax season is around the corner, what is everyone planning on getting with their returns???

BeaverJeeper 11-24-2011 05:43 PM

yjkid95 11-24-2011 06:08 PM

Diverdown87 11-25-2011 11:43 AM

Regear...4.56 with trac locks front and rear and possibly Currie antirock.

tj00wrangler 11-25-2011 02:50 PM

If it was up to me I would be doing a 8.8 or a TT or New control arms, but since I am married the wife will take it and throw it into saving or pay bills.

AmericaOverland 11-25-2011 03:57 PM

Unfortunately, I'm paying off my trip expenses AND a part of my Scout II drivetrain conversion. I need to get caught up.

GoldenSahara00 11-25-2011 04:11 PM

This will be my first tax return. I will probably be able to buy a pack of gum with it.

Mach2Plus 11-25-2011 07:59 PM

Tax return--what in the h--- is that?

Esco 11-25-2011 09:15 PM

Last year I got nothing back. This year will be probably a repeat of last year. Paid over 20K in taxes.

I tried putting my jeeps down as dependents but they didn't believe me when I told them that my three son's names were TJ, CJ, and Bronco. The U.S government wanted to see some birth certificates. Apparently, three titles don't count. I have got to go to California or Texas for those legal birth certificates they sell out there for illegals. It will run me about 3k but it will be well worth it. My three boys need them ;-)

I go tax exempt for 8-9 months so when it comes time to file taxes I usually break even and get a little back from my wife. I used to purposely out myself where I paid more taxes during year just to get larger refund. Decided I'd rather invest the extra from each check over course of year. I get a bonus from my job 2nd payday of Feb every year. So I can still enjoy the spending ha. This year will be my wife's 2012 JKU

banks316 11-26-2011 10:31 AM

I normaly pay in 6k to7k in taxes, and get back around 5k

Beastmaster 11-26-2011 10:33 AM

I'll be paying off Christmas bills (for the Jeep thing I'm buying on credit):whistling:

prairedogg 11-26-2011 03:12 PM

first, I will have some work done on the blazer for my son, new brakes, tune up, get the 4 wheel drive working again. and if any left a new top for the jeep, and maybe some tube doors.:whistling:

If anything, I might pick up a new bumper, but most likely it's all going into savings. My wife has mentioned a few times she'd like to go to Hawaii for our 10th anniversary in 2013 and I'd love to take her.

I usually invest about half of our return and use the other half to pay bills.

My wife and I went in 2009 when we found out she was pregnant. Wanted to go before baby came. Loved it, great time. My biggest piece of advice: save a lot more than you think for food. I went way over budget on food ha.

Kevinm2467 11-27-2011 12:58 PM

MCE flat fenders up front, then moving my KC daylighters up on the windshield. Still debating on just getting two new 305-70-16's for the rear or getting new rims and going with 33-12.50-15's. Still undecided on that.

I know the feeling. All I ever do is write a check.

Well if its like last year I will probably be helping to upgrade either a politician's or a welfare brat's ride.

I'll be writing a check too.
