Disappointing black Friday sales

Is it just me or does anyone else think the items for sale on this black Friday are a little disappointing?

After searching online at black Friday sites, stores online and email notifications I have yet to find a single item on sale that I would purchase.

I'm in the market for a new cell phone (actually switching carriers), none of the phones I would consider getting are any cheaper now than they were two weeks ago.

I would buy a new laptop, but the deals are on laptops that I would have to upgrade. The cost of the upgrades would put me in line with buying a laptop not on sale and I don't have to fight a crowd to get it.

I'm in the market for several items for my jeep, none of which are on sale.

There are a few power tools I'd pick up, but alas, none of them are on sale.

Sure, there are great deals on some items like LCD TVs, appliances, down blankets, coats, boots, etc. But I already have that stuff and no need for more.

Maybe cyber Monday will hold something in store for me but I don't have high hopes.

Ive been doing black friday for about 8 years and once again I did a killing and got 90% of my christmas shopping done before the sun came up.

ive been unable to pull the trigger on a 50" tv until yesterday when i bought a 51" samsung for 499.99 but i did see most of the really great deals you would have to camp out for and if your not the third person in the door they will have run out.

Nothing was a big stand out as far as Jeep stuff that I found.

I did find a great deal on a garbage disposal over at Amazon. Top rated 1hp Waste King. My old 1/2hp one took a dump last week. Kind of stumbled on this deal. :thumb:

I got a 3d led mag lite at lowes for 14.97. I was pretty happy with that and my gear wrench metric flex head set I got at sears for $30.

Son got that deal also, awesome!
I got the maglight, LED $15.00 but looked for a Go Pro, no luck there & I looked for a Bose wireless speaker to take camping, I guess they are to new to be on sale yet. I could see a few good bargains but it was kind of sparce

I wasn't overly impressed either. I managed to get a few things for my kids but there wasn't a whole lot that caught my interest.

Glad to see some people got in on some good deals.

Lowes has had mag lights on sale for the last 3 years that I can remember.

I actually stopped by lowes right before the closed on friday and picked up a dewalt drill for 99, regular 189. I have a black and decker (6 years old) and ryobi drill (3 years old). The Ryobi is better than the black and decker but is easy to run through 3 batteries.
