First and prob last time I'll see this. I was going back to the office after lunch. Was behind an 18 wheeler. He was turning Rigjt to go up a huge hill. So he had to watch the curbs and walls by the turn. What he didn't watch was the low clearence train tracks above him and he plowed into them. His trailer hit so hard that it caused him to bounce backwards causing the cab of the truck to be smashed forward. I almost crapped my pants because it was an empty trailer and it sounded like a bomb went off. My highlight of the day!!! FAIL!!! Sadly no pics I'm sorry!! :hide:

heres my best fail so far...

http://www.svnsvs.com/storage/jeep/narly7.jpg

Looking close you'll see I was going to slow (handicap friend in the jeep just had back surgery but insited on riding) and we dropped into the cross ruts. Yup... that was the end of that. I had dirt by the front passenger wheel over my axles almost to the frame. Looked a jeep was being born out of the ground!

That sloppy shit just coated my duratracs and made 'em useless!

thats not a fail. thats a JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:clap::clap:

sevenservices 12-14-2011 01:50 PM

Thanks! ^

We had to tie together straps to make 70 feet of strap in order for an F250 to pull me out from the gravel driveway. Everytime he tried from anywhere else it would just get buried right along w/me!

That picture of the cop car booted is real?

I think the fail is using a strap with metal hooks, unless I'm not looking at that right...

oh you see 'em right! and no, it didn't work at all. Broke the strap... That was my friends strap, after that didn't work I climbed in the back and got out my 2 wide straps and my clevises.

that sucks to... and it looks so do-able. I can imagine you were probably pretty bummed at the time! I would have been!

Mfuryous 12-14-2011 02:34 PM

I was only bummed at the bill. It took a bill dozer to get me out and 3 new tow straps. Which equaled 450 bux

I've posted this one before, but I think it belongs here. I'd hate to see what happened when he went under a traffic light or some power lines :p

And this is a gear that failed after metal shavings worked it's way between it and another gearset.....and that's a normal sized pallet underneath it.

I'm gonna say fail for the strap with hooks on it.
