I found this beast parked behind an old tire shop in southern Minnesota. A couple phone calls and a visit and bingo. Not mine yet but he is calling me in the morning. We were 1k apart but I blinked a little and now he is throwing in a bunch of CJ parts as well(engine, axles, springs and lots of interior stuff).
The Hurst is still original and running but not driveable(brakes). The hood scoop with the built in tach is very cool.:thumb:
I was planning a tube buggy build but then this showed up. Thinking of putting tons under her and SB Chevy. Hurst came with a TH400 tranny. 4 link rear and 3 link front.:dance:
as long as there is a build thread, who cares! hahaha :D

Full width and stuff...sure...into the side windows. :rofl: Them suckers aint that wide of a body.
Body looks pretty good to me...just a little bit of work and she'd be purdied up. What are you're plans for it?

Well since there was less than 100 made a smart man would restore it. I however think a V6 in a Jeep was a dumb idea. I would like to set it on ton's and stuff a 350 in it. I have a motor in the barn that would work great with the TH400 tranny that is in it. I like the Blue/Red racing stripe but the Champange White has to go. I was thinking flat black with the stripes, full cage, four four point seats and on 40" PBR's

Doable and easy lifting to that old guy...unless you go custom links. Which is not a bad idea.
