I installed the RC 3.25 suspension lift last week and my front U joint is hitting my exhaust when i turn right if the body flexes, even on the road or turning into driveways. It appears someone did an exhause repair and put a spacer in and moved the pipe forwards, here's some pics of the spacer first, next to the front control arm.Attachment 81980

Is the exhaust loose? It shouldn't be solid, but it shouldn't move around very much either. You may be able to tweak it enough with a pry bar to keep it from hitting.

It's pretty solid. can't hardly move it with your hand.

It's pretty damn close WITHOUT articulating, it's spinning within about a quarter inch of the pipe, not sure why it moves, only notice is while turning right as well.

Look at it and see if there's room for the spot where it's hitting to move over a little. If there is, a pry bar of some sort + a couple of small wooden blocks and you should be able to bend the exhaust and get it away from the u joint.

Ill try it! ill upload more picks of all the spacing and stuff as far as the exhaust spacing between other parts this weekend when im gonna decide what to do.

Here's a really crappy diagram of what I'm suggesting:
From the pictures, it looks like they didn't get the exhaust straight when they welded that new piece in. What I would do is find a small block of wood, a small piece of 2x4 would be great, or use whatever you have handy. Pull the exhaust away from the u joint enough to put the block between where it's hitting the exhaust and the u joint.
This is assuming the new piece is toward the front, which I've indicated with the red circle. When you have the exhaust blocked away from the u joint, use a pry bar, tire iron, small piece of pipe, or whatever... and pry the exhaust pipe toward the driveshaft. When you take the block out, the pipe will be bent away from the u joint. Don't pry very much at one time. Pull the block out and check if you have to. Make sure by bending the exhaust away from the u joint, the pipe isn't hitting somewhere else.
Do you mean pry between the frame and the exhaust?

Unless it hit before the lift, your axle shifted over which is why things are hitting. Did you do anything to your track bar up front when you lifted?

Well some kits have you re drill the mount hole on the axle to move the tracbar and recenter the axle. Or get an adjustable tracbar and set it. That said, mine has been offset for a couple of years with no issues but that exhaust repair of yours adds another variable that might be the problem.

I looked at the instructions for the RC 3.25 lift and it comes with a track bar bracket. If you didn't install it, DevilDogDoc is right, your axle will be off center.

It only came with one for the rear.

Thats the problem with the lower end lift kits, they can be incomplete. Do this before you do anything else. Disconnect the tracbar at the axle. Bounce the bumper up and down a few times to center it. See if the clearance improves between your exhaust and driveshaft. If it does then you need to decide on whether you drill the bracket to where it is now or get an adjustable trac bar.

^^ not exactly right. The amount varies depending on the height you raised it and how much the axle shifted over.

True.... 3-4" lift should be 3/4". We did this to 06 rubi with 4" lift and was perfect. Every jeep is different, so it's not exact. Sorry for the confusion.
