Spyder XRC Front Bumper any good?
I need a front bumper and am looking at the Spyder XRC front bumper with winch mount on ebay. It's froma company called Truck and Winch. It can be had for $229 including shipping which seems awful inexpensive. It is made from 3/16 steel and comes with D rings. Does anyone have experience with this bumper?

Looks like the smitty xrc with a couple extra rods in the hoop.
I have the smitty xrc and I like it a lot, these two look practically the same so... for what that was worth.

I know this thread is old, but did anyone end up getting this Spyder XRC? I'm looking at it now too.

Ordered mine last week. Supposed to be coming off the boat in the next day or two, then will be shipped to me. Will post pics when it's on.

by the way I love it! It's beautiful, seems durable and I get compliments everywhere, those are the stock sport fog lights by the way!

Def post some pics. Lots of pics if possible. Wife put her foot down on spending any more money on the Jeep, but I have a winch with no bumper to mount it to. Could persuade her if I could get a decent deal like this

I know this is an old thread but these bumpers just came up in local Craiglist ad today. Anyone have any long-term opinions on these?

I found some online reviews, people seem generally happy, a common issue is that for installation people have had to drill out and elongate some frame holes to accommodate the bumper. And others have had no problems.

I know its old. But I got one 2-3 years ago. So far it has been great. Nice gauge steel, 3/4 Inch D rings. Will be flat towing with it this weekend. Im a little nervous just because I cant find any info at all on towing capacity. For reference the Smittybilt tow bar is a perfect fit as this is a knock off of Smittybilt xrc. But I have massive safety cables and my truck already got hit from behind so what is the worst that can happen right. Durability of bumper is awesome. Everything was flawless on install, all holes lined up. Paint after almost 3 years is faded and one or two welds are starting to penetrate a little rust. Need to pull it off and paint it. Honestly though out of the 6 or so jeeps i our little "family/friends unit" we have going on they are ALL faded, even smittybilt (maybe not as bad) and most have a spot or two of rust (all of the china made ones for sure). But mine seems to be keeping up with everyone's. If anyone ever revives this thread i will let yall know how tow went.
