I live close to redbird and love the park. Great trails. Marked well and have everything from extreme to easy trails. Only 10 dollars for the whole day also.

I'm guessing around 90 min but that might be a little low. Well worth the drive I feel.

I haven't been yet but I have friends that go that usually take their ATVs or trucks. They have said that a lot of crazy people going there just to tear their crap up, so I'd watch out for the idiots lol. But I have also heard that it is a pretty cool place

It's about 2.5 hrs from indy but well worth it. Please let us know when your going it would be fun to make the trip. Also great place for quads but you have to have your stickers from the dnr.

It is one of our favorite places to wheel. Here is a link to a video we made at the Hi Lift Jack Trail Day last year.

No I'm in Indianapolis, but I've been 3-4 times and it's an amazing park. I'm always interested in new trips so let me know when your heading back.

Questions about Redbird, we got about 8 rigs from over here heading out
For a 3 day run on 8/4 and we've never been there:

Is there a campground close by, or how about the cabins that are listed on the site?

What about non liscensed (plated) trail rigs?

Closest drinking/eating establishments?

A little help would be appreciated, looks like an awesome place..

Redsand 06-30-2012 02:37 PM

Campground Yes, unplated need an off-road tag, I think you can get them there, closest place to eat would be in dugger, linton, Sullivan

citricacid 07-04-2012 03:26 PM

8 rigs going? I may have to mark this down on the calendar?
