College Jeepers

5 Attachment(s)
Hey guys I'm just looking for some jeepers my age just to talk about whatever. I'm in SE Michigan where there is not much wheeling to do, but if you are nearby maybe we could make a trip somewhere.

I'm hoping this thread gets as much attention as the "high school" one.

Post up where you're located, what jeep you got and some pics too!

My jeep is a 99' TJ

Thanks man! I just got it like a week ago and just got a bunch of tune up/replacement parts to get it all running solid for winter. Oh and just a 2" skyjacker spacer lift for now to completely clear the 31s on there now. Later I plan on getting a full suspension lift, still doing my homework on which one :) any suggestions??

Wrangler06 12-11-2011 10:40 PM

i have a rough country 2.5" lift and 31s, loved the rough country at first and ignored everyone who hated on it..not even a year later and i cant wait to get rid of it..rides rough, shocks bottom out in the rear...gonna replace it with an old man emu 2.5" when taxes come around ;]

Wow man looks great! I love white jeeps! Hopefully in the future I can upgrade to some more aggressive looking bumpers. How do you like yours?

That's kinda what I've heard too. At first that's was all I was looking at (rough country) but with all the bad reviews on them I have been looking elsewhere. Thanks wrangler forum!

Thanks alot! I like it. You bolt it right over your stock bumper. All you do is remove the tow hooks and bolts slide the push bar on and bolt the tow hooks back down. It's quite easy and I love it. Here's a better pic of it

At least you got a job man, I've applied everywhere and no body has called back. And there is no way I'm gonna work fast food.

Night shade from Autozone. Taped off lower half of lights and put 15 coats on. If u do this make sure u have paint thinner for paint drippage. I love it and it doesn't block and light. Here is a few close ups. Some with lights on as well.

Well with school at 8am, it would have been a little difficult to work nights. But I have looked into it before, just not where will hire. Everyone here is pretty much out of a job and looking.

That's pretty sick, how much did it cost to do that roughly?

TBrownSTL 12-11-2011 11:23 PM

$13 can of nightshade and my Sunday newspaper and masking tape. About 30 minutes total. Very easy and gives it a great mean look.
